It seems necessary for a writer to justify writing from time to time. Birdie is not one of those writers. She writes as if all that matters are the words. And in the end that is what is really important, if the words are good or not. I am not shocked by the talent my friend possesses. I have come to expect it from her. Rather, I am pleasantly surprised that she has taken the time to share that talent with the rest of the world. I hope you enjoy her lines as much as I do her friendship.
